Promising U S Navy Flag gelding Super Love was a dominant winner over 1200m at his second start in Sha Tin last night for trainer Dennis Yip.   

Super Love was a $70,000 purchase for Tartan Meadow Bloodstock from the Valachi Downs 2022 Book 2 draft.    He began his early career in New Zealand under the name Admiral Simon, before being exported to Hong Kong in August of last year. 

In R4 the Class 4 1400m, Lakeshore Hero from the Savabeel mare Savabeel Star ran an eye-catching 2nd.

U S Navy Flag has been represented by three further winners in New Zealand over the past week.

At Tauherenikau on Thursday, 2YO filly War Princess was a winner on debut over 1000m for the Peter Didham Stable.   War Princess is from the Keeper mare Royal Appellant and was a $77,500 Book 2 purchase for Exempt Bloodstock from the draft of Haunui Farm.

At Tauranga on Friday, 3YO filly Way Out West was a winner on debut over 1400m for the Andrew Forsman Stable, and Tears Of Victory picked up the second win of her career also over 1400m.
